Congratulations to the Ruairí Óg seniors who today defeated Ballygalget in the semi-final of the Ulster SHL and in doing so reached the final for the second year in succession. What was especially pleasing about today's performance was the fact it was done without our county players who were all there and ready to play.
However Ballygalget were missing their county players so manager Aidan Mc Ateer took the brave decision to 'rest' the Dall's county players and the faith he showed in his panel was rewarded with a battling display that overcame a resilient opposition on a scoreline of 1.18 to 0.08
