In December 2012, The Moyle Sports Advisory Committee acknowledged the talents of the late Danny Mc Naughton by awarding him posthumously 'The Outstanding Contribution to Sport' award at their Presentation Dinner. Ruairi Og GAC are launching a new fundraising initiative at the start of 2013. The club are looking for 200 members and non members to donate £200 per year to the club to asist with running costs and development of facilities.
