At this stage promoters have knocked on the doors of most householders in Cushendall and to date have been afforded warm welcomes and pledges of support. In some cases promoters have been asked to call back, so that will be happening this week beginning Mon 25th Feb. Promoters were also pleased with the number of people who had nothing but positive things to say about the good work both the camogie and hurling clubs did for the youth in our area - thank you all for your kind words and appreciation of the work our many volunteers do.
We appreciate these are difficult financial times for everyone when literally every penny does count and that £200 is a significant amount out of anyone's annual budget. However the club's running costs have grown significantly in recent year despite the fact all our workers, coaches, managers and officers are volunteers who give of their time freely. We feel that like other clubs in Cushendall we contribute in a significant way to the development of many of the youth in our parish and therefore would appeal to our own members and indeed members of the wider community to subscribe to Club 200 if they can.
Thank you to everyone who already has made a commitment to becoming a Club 200 member - your support is much appreciated.
