Having edged the first half on a scoreline of 7pts to 6, Ruairí Óg came out and effectively won this SF encounter in the first ten minutes of the second period when they stretched their lead to eight over close rivals Loughgiel Shamrocks. Despite having a man sent off. the 'Dall held on to win by five and reach the final where they will meet Dunloy Cuchullians.
